Ascophyllum nodosum

A northern hemisphere brown seaweed that supports oral health by reducing plaque and tartar formation and maintaining a healthy saliva environment, which helps neutralise acids and protect the teeth. This seaweed species has been clinically shown to reduce both calculus and plaque accumulation in the oral cavity of companion animals. Its powerful bioactive compounds include fucoidan, known for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. This compound can also inhibit the growth of sulphur-producing bacteria in the oral cavity that cause bad breath and dental disease.

Blue Mussel (Mytilus edulis)

Blue mussel powder is a purified, dried form of the edible marine species blue mussel (Mytilus edulis), sourced from an organic, KRAV- and MSC-certified supplier. Blue mussels are a rich natural source of omega-3 fatty acids, glycosaminoglycans (GAG) and glucosamine, which are all important for the health and function of joint structures, joint fluid and connective tissue. Omega-3 fatty acids are anti-inflammatory nutrients that can help reduce joint inflammation, slow cartilage degeneration, preserve joint flexibility and support healthy lubrication of the joints. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid)

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a water-soluble vitamin found in many plant species. It is necessary for the biosynthesis of collagen, a key component of connective tissues such as tendons and ligaments.
