ADDITIVES (/kg): Vitamins: Vitamin A (30,000 IU), Vitamin D3 (1,500 IU), Vitamin E (530 mg), Taurine (1,000 mg), L-carnitine (300 mg). Trace elements: Iron (iron(II) chelate of amino acids, hydrate) (45 mg), Copper (copper(II) amino acid complex) (7 mg), Zinc (zinc chelate of amino acids) (100 mg), Manganese (manganese chelate of amino acids, hydrate) (30 mg), Iodine (calcium iodate, anhydrous) (1.5 mg), Selenium (sodium selenite) (0.2 mg). The active or working dog has a higher need for protein and fat. The food has higher levels of these energy-giving nutrients while also meeting the need for vitamins and minerals. It also contains L-carnitine and taurine, amino acids that help build and preserve muscle mass and support heart health.
Glucosamine & chondroitin for joint health
Glucosamine and chondroitin are naturally occurring substances that support the structure of cartilage, promote mobility and may reduce stiffness - important for the active dog with a higher load on the joints.
Hypoallergenic insect protein & egg
The black soldier fly larva is an animal protein source rich in amino acids. The protein is easily digestible, which makes it easier for the stomach and gut to absorb the nutrients. This recipe also includes egg for even higher levels of easily digestible protein.
Supports gut health
The food contains dietary fibre and natural prebiotics from chicory root (inulin; FOS) that give the good gut bacteria good conditions. Dietary fibre contributes to a greater feeling of fullness, healthy bowel movement and transit time.
