ADDITIVES (/kg): Vitamins: Vitamin A (30,000 IU), Vitamin D3 (1,500 IU), Vitamin E (200 mg), Taurine (1,000 mg), L-carnitine (300 mg). Trace elements: Iron (iron(II) chelate of amino acids, hydrate) (45 mg), Copper (copper(II) amino acid complex) (7 mg), Zinc (zinc chelate of amino acids) (100 mg), Manganese (manganese chelate of amino acids, hydrate) (30 mg), Iodine (calcium iodate, anhydrous) (1.5 mg), Selenium (sodium selenite) (0.2 mg). Single-source protein from insects
Insects are an animal protein source rich in the same important nutrients as traditional meat. They provide all the protein and all the amino acids your puppy needs for energy and muscle building. Black soldier fly larvae are also highly digestible and contribute essential fatty acids and minerals.
DHA fatty acid for brain development
The puppy food contains higher levels of the omega-3 fatty acid DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), which is needed for healthy development of your puppy's brain, retina and nervous system.
Gentle on small tummies
The food contains dietary fibre and prebiotics from natural sources with proven beneficial effects on the gut's bacterial flora. It is naturally gluten-free, which makes it extra kind to digestion.
Allergy-friendly
We use only one new and unusual animal protein source - the black soldier fly larva - which means a lower risk of an allergic reaction. In a collaboration with a student at SLU during spring 2024, 79% of owners of dogs with food allergy alone reported improvement in all symptoms (itching/skin irritation/red paws, ear infections, coat problems and gastrointestinal symptoms) after the switch. Always discuss any changes to food or treatment with your vet if you have an allergic dog.
Antibiotic-free production
Insects are the only animal ingredient and the rest is plant-based. The insects are resistant to disease and grow quickly on their own, which makes production free from antibiotics and growth hormones.
