Meet our awesome ambassador Saga, English setter!

Woof Saga! What is your favourite hobby?

Running, running and a little more running. I just cannot get enough, but when I have to stop to catch my breath, I love bird watching.

Do you have a nickname?

Yes, it is a little embarrassing, but my humans call me the Pig. I guess they think I sound like a pig because I love to talk. My nose is working all the time, so my humans first named me Sniff.

Tell us something cool about you!

My absolute superpower is cuddling, at any time of the day and cuddling properly. Big hugs and staying really close to the human body every chance I get. My humans love to snuggle with me, so we are a perfect match.

Can you give other pawsome dogs a tip about a dog-friendly cafe, restaurant or hotel in Sweden?

I love Vita Renen in Edsasdalen. The walk there is beautiful and it is very popular among my dog friends, and they even sell dog bones in the cafeteria.

Now let us talk to your human Sibylla! How come you decided to switch to Petgood?

I really care about nature, and since I am a vegetarian/vegan myself, it did not feel right from a climate perspective to give my dog meat. When I came across Petgood, my view shifted from being only about the environment to also being about dog health, which means the realisation that most meat-based foods contain a lot of antibiotics and growth hormones, and of course the aspect of animal suffering. So now I would not give my dog any food other than insect-based.

Any specific improvements you have noticed?

Her digestion was a big problem before she switched to Petgood, constant diarrhoea. Starting with Petgood, it took a few weeks before her poop got a firm shape. Her coat is so soft and shiny, and she has gained a lot of energy and builds muscle easily!

Thank you Sibylla and Saga for spreading knowledge of a more sustainable animal world together with us!
