Trace elements: Iron (iron(II) chelate of amino acids, hydrate) (45 mg), Copper (copper(II) amino acid complex) (7 mg), Zinc (zinc chelate of amino acids) (100 mg), Manganese (manganese chelate of amino acids, hydrate) (30 mg), Iodine (calcium iodate, anhydrous) (1.5 mg), Selenium (sodium selenite) (0.2 mg). Single-source protein from insects only
To keep the price down, the proportion of insect protein has been reduced in favour of more plant-based ingredients - the proportion of insect protein is 14%, while the food's total protein content is 22%. The black soldier fly larva is the only animal ingredient and contributes easily digestible protein, essential amino acids and beneficial fatty acids.
Rice & vegetables
Rice is the main source of carbohydrates, and potato, peas and barley also contribute important nutrients and energy. This gives you a complete and balanced insect-based food with natural ingredients at a lower price.
Allergy-friendly
Insect protein is the only animal protein source. As it is a novel protein source, it may suit dogs with food allergies or dietary sensitivities better. The food is free from common food allergens such as chicken, beef, dairy, lamb and egg. Always discuss any changes to food or treatment with your vet if you have an allergic dog.
Easily digestible & gentle on the stomach
The food contains the prebiotic MOS (mannan-oligosaccharides) that gives the good gut bacteria good conditions. Barley contributes complex carbohydrates and natural dietary fibre, rice is an easily digestible energy source that's kind to the stomach, and the insect protein is highly digestible.
